I can not tell you how good is NameCheap at the moment because I have just tried their service. But I believe both of them (NameCheap and Godaddy) have different advantages and disadvantages. However if you intend to host multiple websites, it would be a good idea to purchase domain names from both of them and use another hosting companies that supports for multiple websites under one hosting account such as Hostony or Hostgator.
